I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Portland, Maine. I have a private counseling practice, through which I assist people with a variety of mental, emotional and behavioral challenges. I also work with people on personal growth, relationship, and career issues. In addition to my private work, I am an affiliated provider for Sweetser.
I have been providing direct mental health services for six years. My experience includes: Clinical Coordinator of Broadway Crossings, the crisis stabilization unit for Cumberland County; mobile crisis clinician for Cumberland County Crisis Response (774-HELP); adult mental health case manager for Support & Recovery Services; and psychiatric technician for Spring Harbor Hospital.
I completed my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Southern Maine in 2006. Through supervision, study and training, I continue to hone my skills, and stay up to date on new developments and research in counseling and psychotherapy. My special interest is the integration of humanistic interventions, particularly Person Centered and Gestalt approaches.
